Hear Me, Africa

Over is the spiritual drought that has been plaguing this continent from Hear Me, Africa | My Daily Letters - MDL

Oh, Africa, you stand like the mother of a very large brood. For upon your soil dwells many different tribes and tongues, and as such, thick lines of diversity are etched into your ground. It’s no wonder, then, that any lasting bonds of unity cannot be found amongst your people as a whole.

Then like the monsoonal rains that are known to cover your western plains shall a deluge of Holy Spirit fire blow across the entirety of your continent, consuming the hearts of many as it goes. Great then shall be the harvest that is gleaned within your borders, and thereby, shall bridges form between rival clans that before were nonexistent, as the true bonds of kinship shall be forged. See then, Africa, I have come in this hour to erase the scars of ethnic prejudice from decades past so that a sense of solidarity emerges amongst your people that has never before existed, for it shall be centered upon the name of Jesus, the One who is known as the Prince Of Peace.

Then, like the sun’s glistening rays, surely shall My favor shine down upon you, as an abundance of the righteous shall dwell in your midst: those who shall forever be known as My sons and daughters. And so shall you prosper because of their feet, planted upon your soil, for these shall be free of every curse that has plagued your people.

Then from Botswana to Niger, and from Ghana to Uganda, shall streams of My Glory flow, spreading well beyond the outer borders of these nations, as, indeed, shall a divine tributary be established: one that shall not run dry for many generations. So it shall be that the oppressed and the oppressor alike will kneel at the altar of repentance, and there, both shall know My forgiveness, thus triggering a continent-wide emancipation of many souls, even of those who had literally been chained with the shackles of slavery. And so shall the bells of reclamation be heard ringing far and wide across your lands, for you, Africa, shall not be missed when the wave of revival washes over the earth.

Then the ‘pallor of death’ which has covered your people shall be lifted, for surely shall a great multitude no longer be headed for the pit, and as such, shall the sounds of rejoicing from many voices be heard in My ear, as the infirm and afflicted will have encountered the source of everlasting life, and Him being Christ the King, the One who is even now in the heavenlies seated upon the throne of grace at the right hand of the Father, as the only true Savior of the world.

Hear Me then Africa! Listen up you descendants of Ham! Surely have I roared like a lion over the entirety of your land, and therefore, in ignorance of My existence shall you no longer stand, as the undeniable truth of the great “I AM” shall burst forth through demonstrations of My power, for indeed shall the lame walk and the blind shall see.

Then say I, Africa and the remnant of My chosen who already dwell upon this ground: Revival is upon you, and so the spiritual drought that has plagued many of your nations has ended. The ground that has been hardened by decades of hatred shall suddenly be softened through the outpouring of My love and redemption. See then, Africa, like a bountiful garden shall buds of joy spring up and flourish, as a fine tapestry of beauty shall blanket your lands instead of the garments of mourning because the Deliverer has come to rescue your people and revive the sense of eternal hope that had long been lost.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Isaiah 61:1-3
