Love Your Enemies

Did I not say America had entered a turbulent season? Then none should be surprised as the level of hostility increases upon her streets, for a heightened sense of aggravation shall be found in the hearts of many as the government attempts again to tighten its grip by enacting laws and regulations intended to strip away more of their freedom.

So though it shall be short lived, still American’s must endure this season until its completion so that My higher purposes are accomplished. Therefore, let none be aggrieved when the national instability continues, for this fluctuating undercurrent is the enemy’s attempt to delay My Will from unfolding, and as such, shall the chaos ensue.

Then a word of warning: stay away from the political trenches. Do not engage the enemy along this physical front, unless specifically asked by Me to do so. Resist intentionally seeking to provoke those with opposing views, as this is simply feeding your flesh, and it actually creates space for animosity and even hate to thrive. Stop allowing the enemy to dictate the rules of engagement by taking the bait he has laid. For every time you hit back against the lies being spewed from the political sectors via social media, it’s as if firing an empty gun, as defending your point of view does nothing to weaken his lines.

Have you not yet learned that the war being waged upon this soil was conceived in the shadowy catacombs of darkness in the realm of the unseen? Therefore, its defeat and America’s victory shall only be borne upon this supernatural field, for again, it is not flesh and blood that you war against. As such, reject the idea that any human being is your enemy, even those that speak of tolerance but then advocate violence against anyone they’ve deemed their opposition. For you who were called to My ranks are to be promoters of peace, even with those who profess a hatred of your very existence.

Hear Me then, you who line My ranks: do not continue to battle in this manner, for some of you are actually helping to reinforce the enemy’s position by continuing to level your aim from this lower vantage point. This continued volley of political sniping has caused some who were once considered friends to take up an offense. See then, it is not your assignment to get others to agree with your political perspective. However, it is your mission to spread the Gospel and win the lost over to Christ, as this is your one and only true Commission. 

Then with the next election cycle looming, you who are prone to engage the enemy along this front must heed My warning and stand down, no matter what lies you hear spoken from the mouths of the politicians and political pundits. Again I say: Stay away! Resist the temptation to take part in this war of words, for your continued participation in this battle shall surely have a detrimental affect on your life. Even now has your repeated involvement in these unnecessary skirmishes impacted you negatively, as a hardness has begun to form upon your hearts.

Repent then from any offense you yourself are holding against those whose political ideologies don’t align with yours. Lay aside any grievance you carry towards even those who are rooted in the corruption of this government. For this grudge left unattended shall soon become a root of bitterness.

Then follow this path of Truth laid out for you by My Son: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who abuse you”. For if My children will adhere to these instructions, then many shall be the hearts open to receiving the Good News.
