[Vision: I saw a square room with lots of people inside, milling about, chatting amongst themselves, unaware that the walls had started closing in. Because the space was more confined, people were not free to move about as before, and so some began to leave through several exits (there was only one entrance door, but it didn’t swing in both directions). As the walls continued pressing in I saw the ceiling start to press down, and as this happened many panicked, and more ran for an exit.]

Then I heard the Lord say:

The force of My hand is about to be felt on the Church, for as persecution comes against her I shall increase the tension of these days by pressing down upon the assembly of believers. So then she shall feel hemmed in on all sides as her movements are restricted for a season of time. This strain shall cause a mass falling away as many question their faith. And since none are forced to remain in the fellowship of My Son, those who never fully committed to Him will find it easy to leave without looking back.

Then the ground has already begun to rumble as the walls of persecution are starting to move in. The enemy’s assault against the Church is about to ramp up, for this attack was planned well in advance; he was waiting for an opportune time to strike.

So because the Church in this nation has never really been challenged, these soldiers who line My ranks are not prepared for the coming assault. And as I bear down from on high, this crushing shall bring forth the true branches from My vine, those who desire to partake of the new wine I shall pour out upon any who remain true to Me.

Then dig in your heels and say to yourself, “I shall not be moved!”, thereby resisting the enemy’s attempts to get you to flee to what appears to be safer ground. Do not fall for this bait and switch, for he is hoping to lure you out into the open, making it easier to steal your destiny, thus robbing you of your future.

“He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved.” Psalm 62:6
