Revival

And so has the revolution begun. Yet its unfolding shall not be as any had expected, for who can accurately predict all the ways in which I shall move? While some are given a glimpse of future events, none walk in My full counsel, and therefore, only bear a partial understanding of what I am about to do upon the earth.

Then just as it is in the temporal realm, when a forecasted typhoon has yet to fully make landfall and there is an initial surge that rolls onto the shore with a lessened force, so it is in the supernatural sense as this heightened change in the spiritual flow is simply a precursor to the greater wave that is about to wash in and spread throughout the Church.

Oh have “the cloud-chasers” run, seeking a fresh experience of Holy Spirit, dashing from here to there, or anywhere that “revival” is reported; for to encounter the promised wave of renewal is their desire. Ah, but what these and most believers fail to understand is that the resurgence to which I have spoken has a much greater purpose than simply encountering a supernatural outpouring, as I have come in this hour to rebuild My army: to restructure and then reinforce My lines so that the powers of evil are hindered. For dominion over this world rightfully belongs to the Household of the Lord.

However, very few of My children even regard themselves as soldiers, and as such, are not actively engaged in the ongoing battle currently being fought in the unseen (which is the reason so much wickedness has had its way). To most of these, I am only the God of peace and love. And so while that is true, still there is a side to My nature that virtually goes unmentioned, which is that I am a man of war: El Gibbor, Mighty God is My name! 

See then that there is a greater significance to the manifestation of each revival than only seeing a large multitude find salvation, as every resurgence that has occurred throughout the ages was a strategic move leveled at the enemy and his forces, for indeed is the conflict between light and darkness still underway.

Then Holy Spirit has come again, as in the past, to revive My children for battle with a fresh surge of power from on High, so that they are more than ready to wage an aggressive campaign against the dark works of the enemy wherever these are found. For in the recent decades, too much ground has been neglected, thereby allowing evil to easily advance. However, the time has arrived to see a great reclamation of what had previously been stolen.

Don’t be inclined, then, to garner the same opinion of revival as do the uniformed. See it now for what it is intended to be: an act of war which is specifically designed to decimate the enemy’s lines and tear down strongholds that have long been erected. Do not see this promised renewal with a shortsighted view, and that being, a purely spiritual encounter. Therefore, do not run after its reported appearance, for there is a much higher purpose contained in the unfolding of this promised awakening than any has the capacity to envision. As such, who then can predict how I will move next?

So then, sharpen your swords and tightly strap your shield in preparation for what is to come. For as this promised wave of revival moves in and through the nations, the battle in the unseen shall intensify; and so shall the enemy retaliate by striking back with unexpected blows in areas he believes My ranks are most vulnerable. Therefore, take those preliminary steps now with your sword and shield so that, as the battle shifts, you are more than ready to stand your ground.
