When a man’s pile of debt is so high that it reaches the rafters of his home, sooner or later the bottom will fall out because its floor was not built to carry such a heavy load. Then what is to become of the one who dwelt in the house? Is he to be left out on the street to beg like a pauper? Although borrowing someone else’s dime seemed wise at the time, who could have predicted such a rapid decline in the value of his coin and currency?
So while he thought there was plenty of time to pay down the amount he owed, when his lenders suddenly called in their debts, he did not possess enough to pay back these loans. But this was only a portion of his troubles, for those who lived under his roof as tenants were finding it more and more difficult to cover their rent and expenses, thus creating a deficit to his cash flow, keeping him in the red.
Yet, because he had tried to pay back one lender by borrowing from another, this mound of debt has never gone down, and so now, those to whom he owes are seeking to take total control of his affairs, for these creditors were not simply interested in making a percentage off these loans; acquiring his property was their larger scheme.
Then what is he to do when there is very little prospect of paying back his debt, especially when his lenders control a large portion of his livelihood (for as a stipulation to these loans, some of his fields were transferred over to their supervision, taking away his claim to any profits)? And so it would seem that this man is without hope, for how can he recover from such a financial debacle? How can he ever return to solvency when his debt is insurmountable?
Ah, but there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel. Yet it cannot be found by using the methods of man. For when a nation is found buried underneath a mountain of debt, expecting those who created the problem to solve it, is foolhardy. Then, as some would say, “It would take an act of God”, these would be absolutely correct, for the only way to turn this country back on the track to financial prosperity is by looking to Me. However, though this won’t happen overnight, if My children are persistent in their prayers against the evils done to their nation, then I will have the room to work, bringing forth My plan to undo the decades of fiscal irresponsibility done by your leaders.
Then do not think this debt is too big to be reversed. Remember, I am the God of the impossible. Therefore, expect to see Me move and do the miraculous. So do not be troubled by this numerical size, for it doesn’t matter to Me how many zeros have been added to this figure. I am still able to return this nation back to more prosperous days.
So stand on My name, and My name alone. Then, watch as I do what is impossible for man.
