The Perfect Storm

Through the difficult days ahead Holy Spirit will guide believers from The Perfect Storm | My Daily Letters - MDL

When the term “a perfect storm” is used by an individual, it is said to describe a set of difficult circumstances that have developed and seemingly converged on their life all at one time, creating unavoidable and oftentimes devastating results.

So here is where many in this nation appear to be standing, right in the center of a hurricane. For if the pandemic itself with its economic strains weren’t enough, then came the societal struggles with looting and rioting, and now, added to it is a very heated election where more tension has risen in the atmosphere because Americans are divided about who actually won.

And though this season has felt endless, it shall get worse before it gets better, for a second wave of government shutdowns is not all that shall befall this people. For the chaos and confusion coming in the days ahead shall overrun this land like a giant wave that rolls in from extreme weather patterns.

But even with some offering predictions of what is to come, not a single one will truly be ready for the full impact of this giant swell when it makes landfall. And though a few who have listened have begun preparing, many in the nation believe the storm will pass without causing much more damage, and so have settled into the passive disposition of just riding the rest of this turbulent season out until it is finished. For believers God is the shelter in this world from The Perfect Storm | My Daily Letters - MDL

It is these who will then be caught off guard by the intense force of this storm, as life in this nation is about to become even more difficult, where, in some of the suburbs, many are found fearful to step out of their front doors because of the violence being found on their streets. And though the “shelter in place” orders will once again be instituted, mobs of angry protesters shall run unopposed throughout many communities, causing most to stay inside for fear of their lives, and not because of the pandemic itself.

It shall be similar to what has been seen on the streets of Washington DC, where peaceful demonstrators were accosted by those who oppose the President, where across the country, swarms of these violent activists invade cities and towns, attacking anyone who is viewed as their enemy.

But because there are some citizens who won’t tolerate this belligerent behavior, there shall be a clash, as these ordinary citizens rise up to defend their neighbors. This is when the militias will rise, for they won’t sit idly by and watch innocent people harmed simply because of their skin color or political party. Yet this battle has already just begun, as what is being seen now is only the early warning signs of the dangerous atmospheric conditions which are about to fully engulf this nation.

Then the time has arrived to brace yourselves for these more aggressive days; but not from the sense of panic, for none who belong to Me ever need to become frantic. That doesn’t mean, however, that all caution should be thrown to the wind. What it does mean is that My children must walk in wisdom by leaning in more heavily upon Holy Spirit for guidance. For there will be moments when some among you shall face difficulties you have never before encountered.

Therefore, not only must you ready your households, but purpose in yourselves to build up and strengthen your inner being, so that, during this season, you will have the faith to endure the storm having already learned that I am the place to run to when you need a safe shelter.

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
