The Plank

What prejudices another carries in their hearts believers should not presume to know from The Plank | My Daily Letters - MDL

Simply because a cause is declared to be noble, does that mean its motivations align with the tenants of My Kingdom: those other world principles demonstrated through the life of My Son?

And yet so many believers have thrown their hat in the ring with the popular social issues of the day. For these have assumed that because the message is filled with words and sentiments that sound like the Truth, then the right thing to do as a Christian is to embrace these current cultural campaigns. After all, only someone cold-hearted would turn a deaf ear to these cries of injustice.

Then it would seem that very few who claim to follow My Son have thoroughly examined where He stood on the societal issues of His day, for these were very similar to what is happening now around the world, as over time, nothing has changed in the hearts of man; his desire to rule over others is still the same.

And so, throughout world history, men have sought to subjugate other men, looking down upon those thought to be inferior to themselves. However, while My Son was sent to set the captives free, it was the chains of sin and death that He broke off of humanity; which is the reason He never built a political platform for Himself, nor did He instruct His followers to stand against the governmental system that oppressed them.

But since most believers today are heavily influenced by the voice of popular culture, this Kingdom-minded response to injustice has been lost, for My Son never encouraged taking up an ‘offense’, nor did He reinforce the idea of victimhood. The behavior He exemplified was that of loving your enemies,  even those who would spitefully use another. And since I am the only One who is able to clearly discern the hearts of men, none who are Mine should presume to know what prejudices, if any, another carries, simply because of skin color or gender.Among the Church there ate to be no divisions from The Plank | My Daily Letters - MDL

Then those who call My Son, “Savior”, must guard their hearts against the politically correct message of today. For while these causes appear to seek “unification”, the underlying aim is much more divisive; for hasn’t there been a wider divide created since heightening the focus on racism and gender bias?

And since Jesus came to reconcile all men unto Him, those who are found in this position should examine closely the causes they are supporting, even if it means they simply agree with these secular ideas. For unless they line up with the Truth revealed in the Scriptures, then cast them aside, as My Son laid out, in living form, how to live as one from My Kingdom while here on the earth.

Then stop assuming He would be for this cause, or that political movement, and see for yourselves that He only ever championed the cause of His Father, which is: to restore mankind back into right relationship with their Creator.

Therefore, understand that the current definition for “social justice” does not even resemble the real form of justice He brought forth when He sacrificed His life. For the work accomplished on the Cross put to death all division found in man, as everyone who is in Him is now joined to a single family where none are disqualified because their skin is light or dark in color; a family where gender no longer matters because each one stands equal, shoulder to shoulder, as brothers and sisters, and where all are favored children of the Most High King.

Then to presume your brother is automatically against you because his skin pigmentation is a different shade, is, in and of itself, prejudice. So then, before you attempt to remove the sliver from your brother’s eye, take the plank out of your own.

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” -Matthew 7:3-5
