When I rang the first alarm bell to wake My children from slumber, very few were even roused, for to sleep a little longer was what most desired. And so because I am a patient Father, I let them snooze hoping at some point they would open their eyes and recognize the lateness of the hour.
But still these lazy children preferred the comfort of their bed, which is why I set this warning bell to sound off again; and so more began stirring when this next alarm chimed, for its call was much louder and not as easy to ignore.
So while some did manage to kick off the covers and put their feet on the floor, the pull of ease drew them back into their beds, for these idle children thought a short nap couldn’t do any harm, which is why this last alarm came as quite a shock, for I saw that these indolent children still lacked the maturity to heed My subtle voice when it whispered in their ears.
Yet even after the initial shock of this sudden wake-up call wears off, quite a few will long to go back to sleep, dwelling in the cozy bed they had made for themselves, for many lack the motivation to rise up in this occasion, this moment where I am bringing a paradigm shift into the midst of the Church. And so because many are the reluctant hearts found amongst My children, I will go to those who desire to abide in My presence, and who long for nothing more than to be with Me in the house of the Lord forever: the holy habitation who is My Son.
Therefore, do not run back to your old way of functioning as the Church, for these outdated habits of doing and being shall no longer be effective, for what “was” does not carry the anointing it once did.
So stop chasing after the past. Keep your eyes facing forward, seeking the “new” I am bringing within My Body, for it shall not spring forth out of your old manner of operating and gathering. This new era of the Church shall flow with a different vibration, one that carries the sounds of liberation, where the religious chains that have constrained My Spirit shall be broken off so that believers can experience the fullness of who I am now, while still living on earth.
