The Unwelcomed Guest

Who sits at the head of their table the America people no longer have a say from The Unwelcomed Guest | My Daily Letters - MDL

There once was a man who came from another city, and though he was invited by the people to sit at the head of their banquet table, there were also those who held prominent seats and who were used to running the show, that had nothing but contempt for this outsider as soon as he showed up in their town.

And so these ‘notable citizens’ made it their mission to regain the seat this intruder had taken, accusing him of having larceny in his veins. Then day after day, these brought forth drummed up charges and false accusations, hoping the people who had given him this coveted chair would realize their mistake, and throw this stranger out.

However, nothing they did seemed to make a difference, for the people were pleased to have this outsider remain at the head for a little longer. This caused those, who were disgruntled by his appearance, to become more incensed as the banquet went on, for surely this outsider had overstayed his welcome, and therefore should be shown the door.

So while the people were not looking, a plot was hatched by these prominent citizens to have the visitor ousted from where he sat, for they had designs on this seat, having planned to fill it with one from their own town: one who knew the expected decorum when holding this dignified chair. This outsider had to be removed posthaste, for he simply did not fit in with their plan, and his behavior, in their opinion, left much to be desired. Although the people were asked again if this outsider was still a welcomed guest, their wishes to extend his visit were blatantly ignored. So now a demand has been issued by those who hold seats of prominence that he leave immediately, without any thoughts of returning.

It would seem then, that the people no longer have a say in who shall sit at the head their table, or oversee the running of their affairs, for now a simple majority no longer rules, but a minority of the more advantaged have assumed control, having taken it upon themselves to decide what is best for all.

What shall the people do when those they trusted to uphold their wishes aren’t the least bit interested in their opinions, and are only looking out for themselves? How can they take back this right to be heard and counted? Is their voice lost for good because these prominent citizens appear to have succeeded with this ruse?

I should say not! For this assault on their basic rights shall not go unanswered, since those among this people who believe in Me have asked for My intervention.

Then know that I have not ignored your pleas, nor have I turned a deaf ear to your cries. Continue to wait upon Me to bring the answer you seek. Don’t give up hope now, but keep on standing in faith, for surely you shall know the fulfillment of all I have promised over this nation.

Afterall, wasn’t it I, the King, who originally set this table so that the people of this town could freely enjoy its bounty? Then who gave these ‘prominent citizens’ the permission to choose who is seated at the head?

These shall rue the day they ever came against what I had ordained. And so, there shall be an accounting for what they have done, as I have seen and heard their every evil deed: those hatched under the cover of darkness, as their lies and betrayal shall be fully exposed for all to see.

Then mark My words, for I have indeed come to bring vengeance upon those who sought to do evil against this people, for haven’t I  stated, “Vengeance is Mine!”

Let this be said of Me again, for I will always perform My will until it is completed!

“Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord” Romans 12:19
