This Emerald Aisle

To Ireland is revival coming from This Emerald Aisle | My Daily Letters - MDL

Shall I pass by this emerald aisle?

Though your hillsides boast a vibrant green, your spiritual soil has been hardened by the spirit of religion, and so, in stubbornness, you have stood against the move of My Spirit, which is why so much of your ground remains untouched by the love of Christ.

Oh, Ireland, how I have yearned to have you as My possession, where My name is freely worshipped without fear of reprisals. For the majority of your inhabitants have long lived under the oppression of papal rule, and as such, your people continue to kneel at altars built by men, and it is not to Me that they pay homage. As a result, those who thought themselves cleansed of sin still stand steeped in transgressions, for no man alive can absolve another of the eternal debt that is owed. Therefore, upon your shores dwell a great multitude who have yet to experience the kindness of redemption.

Yet the sheep which graze in your meadows shall not outnumber the souls added to My flock when the fires of revival ignite in your midst, as many are the number of your countrymen that shall be swept up in this blaze of My glory. The flames of resurgence shall even spread northward, as those troubled by division shall at last know reconciliation, for many are those who now stand opposed that shall be overcome with inexplicable peace.

Oh Ireland, how you shall shine like an exquisite jewel before the whole world, for the entirety of your landscape shall be awash in the virtues of everlasting love. The bonds of true kinship shall be forged all across your isle, as the chains of religious bigotry that have long held your people are finally severed, for all are invited to join the fellowship of Christ.

Ireland, can you hear Me calling to you? Make ready your people, for revival shall once again visit your lands, which shall far exceed that which was experienced in the past!

“He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.” Psalm 107:14-16
