It’s harvest time! It’s harvest time! It’s harvest time! So rise up you servants of the Lord, take up your mats, and slumber no more. For while you slept the Master made ready the threshing floor and sharpened His scythe, as surely in this season the soil shall produce a great harvest.
Awaken, oh sleeper, climb out of your bed, as the hour grows late and dawn is quickly breaking. Make haste then, there is no more time to waste, for the Helper is already in the field sowing the seeds of revival, so that when the heavier storms of adversity blow through, the earth will yield an abundance of new sprouts. Don’t suppose, then, that the Master will delay the harvest because the lazy and complacent have not fully awakened. He will simply pass by these sluggish laborers, and reward those workers who have been attentive.
Then you who have responded to His clarion call shall receive a double portion for your efforts, for you have not neglected your Master’s request. And so, young and old alike shall be refreshed when the wave of renewal floods the Church, as even those ‘past their prime’ shall know spiritual rejuvenation. So throw off the blanket of apathy and cast aside the rug of indifference, which have kept you bound to your beds, for I tell you now, the promised outpouring of Holy Spirit is nearly upon you, and shall suddenly appear as if out of nowhere.
Yet you who refuse My repeated warnings that “…the time is growing short…” will dwell in a state of despondency, for you shall have missed this blessed event as it is ushered in. Regret, regret, regret is what your hearts shall carry, since nothing like this “Greatest Awakening” shall occur again. Therefore, even after another forty years have passed, a divine resurgence shall not manifest; for then I shall move differently among My people.
Oh, you indolent children, those who are lounging about with idle hands, you have misread the hour, and so your fields shall only see a sparse harvest, absent the flourishing vines that could have grown.
Ah, but unto My faithful ones shall I bestow an abundance of strong sturdy stalks, those which shall reproduce for many generations to come, for these children quickly arose when they heard the Master’s voice, and have continued to watch over their fields.
Hear Me now, Oh sleeper, “Get up, for it is harvest time!”. Again I say, “Get up!”, and again, “Get up!”, or your own reluctance shall be to blame, and shall prevent you from knowing the full measure of My blessing in this season.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” -Galatians 6:9
