The key is captivation…I want to be your delight!
I have placed a yearning in your heart to be with Me, an inclination to know Me more. This is not by accident, for that desire was put there intentionally.
When I am absent from the relationship you will look for other things to fill what is missing…instead of Me.
Because I have placed this hunger inside your being, you will not be satisfied by anything else. So do not neglect your time with Me. Satiate yourself with My presence. Let it flow over you, washing over your being, covering you from head to toe so nothing is left exposed…this is true captivation.
My longing is for you to be immersed in My presence; meaning you live and breathe through Me. “I am the air you breathe!”…as if you cannot survive without Me. Like oxygen is to your lungs, this is how our relationship should be, as one unable to endure unless they stay connected to the source of all life, by filling their inner being with a steady influx of My Spirit.
God wants to be our delight
What do we focus our attention on the most? What are those things which grab at our heart? God wants us to be captivated and delighted by Him.
