Transformation Is The Goal

To become more like Christ obstacles are opportunities since Transformation Is The Goal | My Daily Letters - MDL

Transformation begins on the inside. It is the place where I start to work, as the development process I have chosen, that takes effect once someone opens his heart to Me. Then, and only then, am I able to exercise the necessary pressure to bring in everlasting change.

Yet, for some of My children, when a challenge emerges, they think it is only the adversary who is creating a ruckus, so they concentrate their efforts only on the problem, preferring to straighten out the matter and put it to rest so they can move on. What they don’t realize is the deeper work I am yearning to accomplish in their inner man, forgetting this is a part of our relationship, while missing the greater implications each struggle carries, as a chance for enlargement into new levels of faith and understanding.

However, many of My chosen are not eager to engage in this process of change. So instead of asking Me what the test means, some decide to fight off the opposition using the wrong strategy, allowing him to dictate the terms of the battle, rather than standing in an offensive manner, ready to charge in and take the territory which legally belongs to them. My children should not be overly concerned with the enemy’s tactics, for he cannot force trouble without expressed permission, and then his only ploy is to fill the atmosphere with works of darkness meant to throw focus away from what’s important.

So when a trying situation arises, the view to hold is about “transformation”; of becoming more like My Son, with each obstacle viewed as an opportunity for change, presented as a moment to practice living as a new creation by setting aside the old way of encountering a struggle, trading it in for a much better form of existence.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. ” 2 Corinthians 5:17
